Swine flu pandemic risk is "extreme", warns Warwick University

THE UK is more at risk from the spread of swine flu than any other country, according to experts at Warwick University.

We are at “extreme” risk of a flu pandemic because we have such a big population for a small country, many of us live in cities and we have so many airports.

But the UK and other western nations are the best prepared to contain a flu pandemic after stockpiling anti-viral drugs and putting in place emergency plans.
